This massage method focuses on achieving results through first calming and soothing the nervous system, which allows the body to release tension from deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is particularly effective for addressing chronic discomfort, persistent pain, and tight areas, including stiff necks, shoulders, forearms, frozen shoulder,  upper and lower back pain, sore knees, leg muscle tightness, and plantar fasciitis

 

The process comprises several essential steps:

 

  • First, the nervous system is calmed using the vagus nerve and a soothing magnesium mineral spray

  •  Next, the targeted area is oxygenated through a four-step mindful breathing technique
    ·
  •  Then, applied pressure is utilized to relieve tightness in specific areas 
  • Finally, stretching and breathwork are incorporated to address any remaining muscle tension for complete release

 

Rapid, warming strokes and deeper pressure are applied to reach the underlying muscle and fascia layers, promoting relaxation and improving muscle function. Throughout this process, the recipient is encouraged to practice deep breathing, employing a slow four-step inhale into the treated area, allowing oxygen to flow into tense muscles while feeling the tension dissipate with each exhale

 

Each session is carefully customized to address individual concerns, such as chronic pain, muscle stiffness, frozen shoulder and limited movement. The BREATHE + RELEASE method promotes mindfulness, helping clients connect with their bodies and recognize their unique needs.
